QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor of Science in Agriculture or related field of study
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Confidence and competence peaking with customers, resolving problems, and setting own schedule
  • A desire to provide excellent customer service is required
  • Must be able to obtain a commercial applicator certification


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Seeks to identify best practices in marketing and promoting treatment programs
    • Bills customers and keeps accurate records of spray treatments
    • Maintains spray equipment with training
    • Soil samples fields using various sampling processes and maintains field maps and reports
    • Scouts fields for pests and other environmental factors that impact crop performance
    • Facilitates sales calls in a professional and courteous manner
    • Works safely and abides by local and state safety regulations
    • Responsible for providing outstanding customer service to the customers and farmer members of Robertson Cheatham Farmers Co-op
