The goal of TFC’s yearlong career training program is for participants to gain knowledge and experience under the direction of experienced personnel. This training is required for promotion to management and other career opportunities within the TFC organization.
College students have the opportunity to participate in a 12‑week summer internship at TFC or a member cooperative. This paid internship provides both hands‑on learning and classroom instruction.
TFC offers a total of 32 scholarships — each worth $2,000 — to qualified agriculture students at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, UT Martin, Tennessee Technological University, Middle Tennessee State University, Tennessee State University, and Austin Peay State University.
