Co-op 12% Pelleted Ewe Developer-Gestation Feed is formulated for gestating ewes where moderate levels of protein and energy are desired. This feed is medicated with chlortetracycline to reduce the incidence of abortions caused by certain organisms and is designed to produce true skeletal and muscular growth in developing ewe lambs. Also contains selenium and added vitamin E to help prevent White Muscle Disease. This product requires the Veterinary Feed Directive.
Hand feed Co-op 12% Pelleted Ewe Developer & Gestation Feed-CTC at 2 lb per head per day to provide 80 mg of Chlortetracycline per head per day. Feed at least 0.75 lb of long-stemmed hay per head per day to help maintain rumen health. Feed at far end of pen to encourage exercise. Watch for slow ewes as these are most likely to develop ketosis. Always provide plenty of clean, fresh water. Do not exceed 0.30 ppm supplemental selenium in the total ration.
Caution: Ederal law restricts medicated feed containing this Veterinary Feed Directive (VFD) drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian.
