QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School / GED Diploma
  • One year of commercial driving experience, preferred but not required
  • Class A Commercial Driver’s license (CDL) required
  • General knowledge of agriculture products and equipment
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with team members and customers
  • Self-reliant and able to accurately work under limited and remote supervision

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Delivers bulk feed and other products to customer locations
  • Picks up goods and materials, loads and unloads cargo, verifies shipments for accuracy, and delivers them as instructed
  • Analyzes geographical maps to avoid dangerous routes and acclimates to all types of seasons
  • Records sales or provides information on daily sales or delivery records with accuracy
  • Listens to and resolves service complaints
  • Performs pre-inspection, routine maintenance, and cleaning of the truck and other equipment
  • Adheres to all safety regulations and procedures
  • Provides exceptional customer service to farmer members and other patrons of AgCentral Farmers Cooperative
