Feeding Directions

Co-op 21% Layer Concentrate is formulated to be fed with grain. For most efficient egg production, it is recommended that 60 parts of Co-op 21% Layer Concentrate be fed with 40 parts grain or Scratch Feed. It is important to make certain that consumption of grain is never more than the intake of the Co-op 21% Layer Concentrate. This will provide the birds with the proper balance of all ingredients. If egg shell quality declines after 10 to 12 months of lay, coarse ground limestone (Co-op Item #1308) should be offered free-choice or top dressed at 0.25 lb per 100 birds per day. Always provide plenty of clean, fresh water.
