Co-op 37% Pelleted Sheep Concentrate-BOV

Mix 1 part of Co-op 37% Pelleted Sheep Concentrate-BOV with 3 parts of grain to make a 16% protein mixed ration containing 30 g of Lasalocid per ton. Feed the mixed ration continuously at 1.00 to 4.66 lb per head per day depending on bodyweight to provide not less than 15 mg nor more than 70 mg of Lasalocid per head per day. Lambs should be fed twice a day and worked up to a full feed of the 16% mixed ration over a 2 to 3 week period of time. To maintain rumen health and prevent digestive upset, feed 0.50 to 0.75lb of fine stemmed hay per head per day along with the full feed of the 16% mixed ration. If whole shelled corn is fed as the grain source in the 16% mixed ration and the lambs are on full feed, then hay does not need to be fed.
