Co-op Show Lamb Feed-BOV (available Feb.-Oct.) is formulated to bring out the best in show lambs. This feed is fully fortified with vitamins and minerals and is medicated with Bovatec® for the prevention of coccidiosis. It also contains: • ammonium chloride to help reduce urinary calculi (water belly) • Selenium and added vitamin E to help support immune function in stressful situations • Steam-rolled corn and barley as excellent energy sources • Multiple sources of high-quality protein, including fish meal • Enhanced fiber level to help maintain a healthy rumen.

Lambs should be fed at least twice daily. Feed Co-op Show Lamb Feed-BOV continuously at a rate of 1.1 to 5.0 lb per head per day to provide not less than 15 nor more than 70 mg of Lasalocid per head per day depending on body weight. To maintain rumen health and prevent digestive upset, a minimum of 0.5 lb per head per day of fine stemmed hay should be fed in addition to the Co-op Show Lamb Feed-BOV. Do not exceed 0.30 ppm supplemental selenium in the total ration. Keep clean, fresh water available at all times. Consult your Co-op Feed Representative for directions for starting lambs on feed. Vaccinate all lambs to prevent enterotoxemia (overeating disease) with both C and D toxoid.
